Reassurance Scan
From the moment you take a positive pregnancy test, you may be anxiously awaiting your 12 week NHS scan – this can feel like a long time to wait.
At Babyvision, we know how the early stages of your pregnancy can be a worrying time, and you may wish to have some reassurance prior to your 12 week NHS scan. This may be because you are anxious, or you may have experienced a previous miscarriage, or have a close friend or family member that has.
At Babyvision, we can offer you a Reassurance scan from as early as 6 weeks, up until 15 weeks, performed by our fully qualified and regulated sonographers with years of experience in early pregnancy scanning. We will check and show you your baby’s heartbeat, and also check the health of your baby is as expected for the gestation. We can provide you with estimated due date by measuring the length of your baby by the crown rump length (CRL), and from this measurement we can accurately date your pregnancy to +/- 5-7 days. We will also check for the number of babies.
Our qualified, experienced staff will ensure you have full understanding of your Reassurance scan and provide you with all necessary information on your next steps.
If the pregnancy is not continuing as we expect our kind compassionate staff will give you the time and support you need and arrange a referral to your local early pregnancy for continuing care.
Cost: £70
During your Reassurance scan, one of our qualified and experienced sonographers will:
- Check your baby’s heartbeat
- Take a measurement of your baby’s CRL (Crown to Rump Length)
- Check the position of your baby (in the uterus)
- Check for multiple pregnancies
- Provide you with printed pictures of your baby
- Write a medical report, of which you will be provided with a copy.

Myself and my partner were made to feel so welcome by Jean and Kelly while we were visiting Babyvision. We went for a Reassurance scan at 11 weeks after a bit of a scare when my partner suffered some severe cramps. We were able to book and be seen within 24 hours using the website, which was great.
The location is stunning and calming, the environment inside matches the location, there are comfy sofas while you wait and Jean was able to calm our nerves while waiting with knowledge and support.
Whilst inside the scan room Kelly was fantastic with her explanations and reassurance throughout the scan. Again, her knowledge and support was invaluable to first time parents such as ourselves.
I honestly couldn't recommend Babyvision enough!

I had a heavy bleed at 11 weeks, rushed to A&E and was unpleasantly told to ‘go home and let nature take its course’. I rang Baby Vision on the same day and those kind and caring women comforted both my partner and I and then offered to book us in for an emergency scan over their lunch break! The support we were given and kindness that we were shown were unparalleled and I can’t thank them enough for easing our mind and showing us our beautiful baby, when we were so scared that we’d lost him.
I’m now 20 weeks and expecting a little boy in July ❤️

If you are looking for a follicular tracking clinic this is it. At very affordable prices and in a beautiful location you will be taken care of and put at ease. Now that I am pregnant I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else to track my baby’s development.

Booked scan this morning for 3:10pm today. Staff were absolutely lovely and really reassuring. Iv just booked to come back next month for a 4D scan. Thank you so much and we are excited to see you again at 16 weeks !
Went for an early scan after a family member recommended here and then came for a 4D scan with my grandmother who is terminally ill. The ladies here could not have been more accommodating and made it such a lovely experience for us as a family despite the circumstances even just from the phone call enquiring and asking many questions. They are extremely patient here and even though the appointment time flies you aren't made to feel rushed at all. My Nan was thrilled with her surprise trip and loves the pictures we took away with us also.
Most of life problems & struggles are spiritual and the solution needs spiritual remedies be it health problems, financial problems, Job promotion, fertility spell ,marital problems, protection, divorce spell, attraction, money rituals, Love spell, Marriage spell , I realized this after Olu Ega helped me through a difficult problem, he is a gifted spell caster, contact himn for any life challenges and she will provide solutions I recommend him 💯

We had an early reassurance scan at 6 week and a gender scan at 16. Would definitely recommend Babyvision to others - a lovely location, and reasonably priced for peace of mind around NHS scans
My husband and I visited Babyvision with my mother-in-law for a 31 week growth scan. We've had a number of scans at different facilities during the course of our pregnancy but this was by far the best experience so far. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating, going out of their way to wear facemasks and keep their distance from my mother-in-law who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The sonographer was very thorough, talking us through everything in detail and making a real effort to get us the best 4D view possible of our baby. In other facilities we have been in and out within 10 minutes, but at Babyvision you could tell the staff really cared about satisfying your needs as best as they can. Unfortunately as we don't live in the area it's unlikely we will be back again to visit before our baby arrives, but I couldn't recommend Babyvision more highly to anyone looking for a private scan.

After abit of a hiccup with the first scan experience Ruth rang me and offered a complimentary re scan for my twins, very happy with the service today nice & welcoming and lots of detail whilst the scan was being done on each baby. Thankyou
My partner and I went for our 20 week scan at Shrewsbury but unfortunately the little one would not let us know what we were expecting (legs closed to tight). Called baby vision and they very kindly made space for a gender scan as my partner had a reveal party in 2 days. We also did our first babies 4D scans here too brilliant company very friendly and the site is lovely. Thank you!
