RUTH FINCH – PgDip Medical Imaging Science (Ultrasound) Registered Manager
Ruth Finch, the director of Babyvision, has over fifteen year’s experience of carrying out pregnancy scans, whilst working as a qualified Senior Ultrasonographer.
Ruth first qualified as a Radiographer in 1992 and specialised in Ultrasound from 1994. Ruth qualified as an Ultrasonographer gaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical imaging science (ultrasound) from the University of Hertfordshire in 1996.
Having gained extensive experience in ultrasound scanning from the Luton and Dunstable Hospital and The Countess of Chester hospital, Ruth started Babyvision in 2005. Ruth also has some first hand experience having three children, so can appreciate the worries you have when you are pregnant. Babyvision now consists of a small team of professionals dedicated to providing you with a complete range of specialist baby scanning services.

JANE VAN ROSSEM – Receptionist
Jane is Babyvision’s receptionist and in most cases will be your first point of contact. Jane has an excellent knowledge of all of the scans performed at Babyvision and will be able to help you book your chosen scan at the appropriate time in your pregnancy. Jane’s approach will ensure your enquiry is dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
DR ADAM GORNALL – Consultant in Fetomaternal Medicine
Dr Adam Gornall qualified in Medicine from Liverpool University in 1988. Since then he has devoted most of his professional career to the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Within this speciality he has sub-specialised in Fetomaternal Medicine, completing this training in Leicester in 2003. His interest is therefore antenatal care, prenatal diagnosis and complicated pregnancies.
Dr Adam Gornall, whilst no longer providing any private medicine, worked at Babyvision for six years. During this time Babyvision developed a good referral pathway to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, Telford and these remain today.
Dr Adam Gornall works as a full-time Consultant at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, Telford as well as a visiting Consultant to Ludlow Hospital.
Joanne Long ‘Jo’
Jo Long, qualified as a Radiographer in 1981 and then specialised in Ultrasound in 1988 gaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical imaging science (ultrasound) at the Central Middlesex Hospital London. Jo gained experience in Obstetric Ultrasound at the Royal Free Hospital in London and worked alongside Ruth Finch at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
Jo currently works within the NHS as a Sonographer.
