Early 4D HD Live scan
At Babyvision, we offer an Early 4D HD Live scan that provides you with HD moving images of your baby, from 24-26 weeks 0 days.
During this scan the Sonographer will show you around your baby in 4D HD Live. The images at this stage will not show as much detail of your baby’s face as the later scans would (around 28 weeks) as baby is smaller at this stage, however, you will still be able to see what your baby is doing in 4D HD moving images.
It is not always possible to complete a 4D HD Live scan, for a number of reasons. Although the Sonographer will always try their utmost to perform the scan, we estimate that we are unable to complete the scan for around 1 in 10 clients. There are different factors that can make it more difficult to get clear 4D images of your baby.
For example:
- A high maternal BMI
- The amount of fluid around your baby
- The position of your baby and placental location.
If the Sonographer is unable to complete the scan, they will explain the possible reasons
behind this. If this is due to baby’s position, a free re-scan will be offered (scan must be completed prior to 26 weeks).
Please note the following:
- A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required at the time of booking due to the length of the appointment (20 minutes). The deposit is non-refundable as this is a nominal charge for the appointment time allocated.
- A 4D HD Live scan during a Saturday or evening clinic will be subject to an additional charge of £20.

My husband and I visited Baby Vision this week for an early gender scan, and the experience was absolutely incredible. Although our little one was feeling a bit shy at first, the sonographer was so patient and kind—she took her time, made sure baby moved into the right position, and didn’t rush us at all. Thanks to her care and attention, we received so many beautiful photographs that we’ll treasure forever. The setting was stunning, and the pricing was very reasonable. We felt completely at ease throughout and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Me and my partner had our early reassurance Scan at Babyvision today and it was a magical experience. The team at Babyvision were amazing and so very friendly any questions we had they were on hand to answer and were amazingly patient and helpful. The lady who did my ultrasound was very respectful and kept checking in as we went through the scan. She was very knowledgeable and kept telling us about what she could see and gave us a very thorough report after the scan. We liked that the scan price included 2 photos and that we had the option to have 3 more for just £5. The service itself is located fairly close to us and is located in a lovely quiet like are of town. The rooms were lovely and inviting and it was lovely to be able to see our baby on the bigger screen on the wall. It was a truly magical moment to experience together and made even more special by the lovely team that made it possible, definitely gave us the reassurance we were looking for as 12 weeks is a very long time! Thank you Babyvision!

Ruth and Jane are both very welcoming and friendly, we used Babyvision for our first baby and have just been again recently for our second, they're both so patient and make the experience so special. Can’t recommend Baby Vision enough! Both Jane and Ruth are so welcoming and can’t do enough to make the experience very special. Today we took our children to meet there soon to be brother or sister and Ruth took so much time explaining to them all the parts of the baby. They are now even more excited to meet the new arrival later on this year.

Have absolutely loved coming to babyvision for my scans, all staff are so welcoming, we came for our gender scan and baby was being a little monkey, they were patient and were fantastic, thank you so much guys ❤️

I came with my daughter, her partner and his mum today for a gender scan. We arrived late due to traffic but staff went out of their way to still fit us in. The scan was amazing, so personal and detailed. Staff were amazing! We were all in tears! I would highly recommend. Thank you, it’s an experience we will never forget 💙💗
Myself and my partner were made to feel so welcome by Jean and Kelly while we were visiting Babyvision. We went for a Reassurance scan at 11 weeks after a bit of a scare when my partner suffered some severe cramps. We were able to book and be seen within 24 hours using the website, which was great.
The location is stunning and calming, the environment inside matches the location, there are comfy sofas while you wait and Jean was able to calm our nerves while waiting with knowledge and support.
Whilst inside the scan room Kelly was fantastic with her explanations and reassurance throughout the scan. Again, her knowledge and support was invaluable to first time parents such as ourselves.
I honestly couldn't recommend Babyvision enough!
